DETAILS routing and FX limited and no digital out, compared to the big Q series. LFOs range up to 2600 Hz , midi syncable, 4 multistage ENVs make real FM possible since all OSCs can be used as source and the "fast modmatrix" allows 8slots for OSC routing. the 2 Wavetables consist of 128 Waves. FX contain delay, reverb and vocoder etc. a nice analog step type of sequencer but hard to use in multimode. (Hardware: Waldorf Q --- Motorola 56303 (3 of them in the Q KB and raQ, where 2 are for the synthesis and 1 is dedicated to FX only! only 1 but faster DSP works in the micro Q/micro Q KB for all synthesis and FX!))
DETAILS routing und FX etwas eingeschränkt, es fehlt auch der digitalausgang im vergleich zum großen Q. lfos gehen bis 2600 Hz, midi synchronisierbar, 4 mehrstufen-Hüllkurven machen sogar echte FM möglich (jeder OSC kann als Quelle dienen und es gibt eine "fast Modmatrix" mit Noise und OSCs als Quellen, 8 Slots), Die beiden Wavetables haben 128 Waves. FX: hall, delay, vocoder etc. es gibt einen bord sequencer, ist jedoch im multimode etwas umständlich, dafür aber als analogstepper gedacht.

Michael Marans, Executive Vice President of QuireTec, does the US-distribution of Waldorf.
Waldorf is the second re-incarnation with almost the same team but without the founder Wolfgang Düren. Waldorf was really a synth company who even dare to make the big Wave Synthesizer which was sort of successor to the PPG Wave Synthesizers.DER HERSTELLER
THE MANUFACTURER
Waldorf wurden sicher spätestens mit dem Waldorf Wave sehr bekannt, noch unter Wolfgang Düren als Boss bauten sie eine Reihe von sehr innovativen Synthesizern, zunächst auf Basis des PPG Wave und entwickelten sich weiter, verloren aber nicht ihre Stärke Hybridsynthesizer bauen zu können. Nach der Insolvenz Waldorfs in den frühen 2000ern kamen sie ohne Wolgang Düren mit einem ähnlichen Team wieder und kündigten direkt eine neue Produktlinie an, die sich weitgehend an den früheren Synthesizern orientiert und legten auch den Q+ und MicroQ als Phönix Editon limiert wieder auf. Chefcoder S.Stenzel hatte zwischenzeitlich den Komplexer für Terratec gebaut und Wolfram Franke kam von Access zurück zu Waldorf, vielleicht haben die Virus-Synthesizer deshalb heute Wavetables?
