ABOUT The Jupiter 80 is digital and looks a bit like the Jupiter 8 but it's architecture is different.
it has Drums and a Solo Part for more natural behaviour of vibrato (fading in etc) and things like how the sounds behaves when playing notes together - thats what they call supernatural.
the other 2 parts (upper / lower) consist of 4 Tones which are in fact like the Gaia - 3 Partials with OSC-Filter and Amp so it ends up having 3x4 per Section means 24 Layers of OSC-Filter-Amp Synth Parts or so to say 8 Gaias unter the hood but all of them can play Samples not just basic waveforms which makes a lot of pad sounds possible with the JP80

ABOUT Trotz dem Namen ist der Jupiter 80 oder JP-80 nicht verwandt mit dem Jupiter 8, erinnert aber optisch an ihn.
Es gibt 4 Layers. Einer für Drums, einer für Solo-Sound der im Stile des AP Synths im V-Synth GT einige typische Verhaltensweisen von akustischen Instrumeten umsetzt. Dabei geht es darum, wie ein Vibrato klingt und einschwingt, welcher Ton beim Pitch-Bending sich wie verhält und ähnliche Dinge.
Ansonsten gibt es Upper und Lower Bereiche mit je 4 Tones die jeweils die Struktur des Gaia enthalten (also 3 Synthesestränge mit OSC-Filter-Amp Architektur). Die Oszillatoren können auch Samples abspielen, ansonsten sind sie identisch mit dem Gaia. Macht also 3x4 Layers pro Bereich also 24 und dazu Solo und Drums im JP80
