ABOUT Basically a K-Series successor like the K2661 but with optional VA1 board, which was previously only shown as a prototype and never made it into a final product.

ABOUT Eigentlich ein Spätnachfahre der K-Serie, wie zB der K2661, jedoch mit mehr Tasten und der Option, die VA1-Klangerzeugung einzubauen. VA1 gab es mal als Prototypen, fand aber jetzt erst in ein reguläres Produkt.

DETAILS varible system that offered misc. osc, filter and other modules that use 1-4 units of DSP power, so some have more filtering features others are more osc based etc.. so there is no abolute number of filtertypes etc. Sequencer and Sample AD converter were optional (!) Reads many Formats like Ensoniq, Roland, S1000 and WAV..

Ray Kurzweil is the founder of the legendary K-samplers, quite innovative those times, the company had difficulties so the distribution changed in the early 2000's.

THE MANUFACTURER
Insbesondere in den 90ern sehr fortschrittlich, in den frühen 2000ern gab es allerdings kleine Probleme, den VA1 Synthesizer zogen sie zurück, da er offensichtlich zu teuer geworden wäre. Ray Kurzweil bekam später Hilfe von Young Chang R & D Institute und es gibt die K-Serien Rompler und Sampler immernoch.
