ABOUT Akais most successful time began with the S1000/S1100, a weak 12dB filter was the only feature along with timestretching, unfortunately the S1000 became standard (for no reason!) for a long time of the 90ies.. warning: also playback only versions were available. S1100 with FX section.

Kaum einer kenn nicht die berühmte S-Serie Sampler des chinesischen Herstellers mit weissem Rack-Gehäuse, sie waren der Verkaufsschlager der 80er und in wirklich jedem Studio zu finden, wirklich innovativ waren sie aber eher mit der MPC und einigen Synthesizern (AX und VX Serie und speziell dem VX600), jedoch hatten sie beim Verkauf der Synthesizer nicht so viel Erfolg. Gegründed von Masukichi Akai.
